ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how certain physical measurements can help doctors predict the outcomes for patients with liver cirrhosis who experience gastrointestinal bleeding. Researchers want to see if tools like the Sequential Organ Failure Assessment and Shock Index can provide accurate insights into how well a patient might do after this type of bleeding. The goal is to improve how emergency and critical care teams manage these patients.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must have liver cirrhosis along with gastrointestinal bleeding. Unfortunately, those with incomplete medical records or who have experienced trauma will not be included. If you or a family member qualifies and chooses to participate, you can expect to undergo some assessments that will help doctors gather important information about your condition. This study aims to enhance patient care, so your involvement could contribute to better treatment strategies in the future.
