ClinConnect Summary

The Hainan Community Cognition Cohort is a research study taking place in Hainan Province, China, that focuses on understanding cognitive problems such as dementia in older adults. Starting in 2023, the study aims to find out what factors contribute to cognitive decline and how these issues affect the health and social well-being of elderly residents. Researchers will also work on developing smart software and tools to help improve memory and physical activities for participants.

To be eligible for this study, individuals must be 60 years or older, have lived in the community for at least six months, and be able to provide informed consent by signing a form. Unfortunately, those who cannot complete surveys will not be able to participate. If you join the study, you can expect to share information about your health and lifestyle over time, which will help researchers learn more about cognitive health in older adults. This study is currently recruiting participants of all genders, and your involvement could contribute to important discoveries that benefit many others in the community.
