ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different ways to treat a condition called lumbar foraminal stenosis, which occurs when the spaces in the lower back become narrow, putting pressure on the nerves. The trial aims to find out if a newer, less invasive technique called unilateral biportal endoscopy is more effective than a traditional method known as lumbar fusion in relieving symptoms and improving patients' quality of life.
To participate in this study, individuals must be diagnosed with degenerative lumbar foraminal stenosis and be 18 years or older. However, those with certain conditions like spinal deformities, infections, tumors, or instability will not be eligible. Participants will receive one of the two treatments and will keep a diary to track their symptoms and any improvements they experience. It's important to note that this trial is not yet recruiting participants, so those interested will need to wait for updates on when they can join.
