ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new treatment approach for people with lateral epicondylitis, commonly known as tennis elbow. The researchers want to see if a multimodal rehabilitation program—using a combination of therapies—is more effective than traditional treatments for easing pain and improving function in the arm. They are looking for participants aged 18 to 45 who have experienced localized pain on the outer part of their elbow for at least two months and have tested positive on three specific physical tests.
Participants in the trial can expect to be part of a study that lasts eight months, where they will be randomly assigned to one of two treatment groups. They will undergo assessments before and after the treatment using tools like pain scales and strength tests to measure their progress. This trial is important because it aims to provide better evidence on how effective this new rehabilitation approach is for tennis elbow, which can help inform future treatment options. If you have had elbow pain and meet the criteria, this could be an opportunity to contribute to research that may benefit others in the future.
