ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at different techniques to help clear mucus from the airways of infants with a condition called acute bronchiolitis, which is often caused by a virus known as Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV). The study will focus on infants who are having their first episode of mild to moderate bronchiolitis. The goal is to see if these techniques can help improve their breathing and overall recovery, and it will involve infants aged between 28 days and 1 year old.
To participate in the trial, infants must be diagnosed with their first episode of acute bronchiolitis and have mild to moderate symptoms. Parents or guardians will need to provide consent for their child to take part. However, infants who have a history of chronic respiratory issues or have experienced wheezing before will not be eligible. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but once it starts, families can expect their child to receive specialized respiratory physiotherapy treatment aimed at helping improve their lung function.
