ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how well a robotic system can help people with lower limb orthopedic conditions (like injuries to the legs) improve their upper body strength while they are in rehabilitation. The goal is to see if using robotic trainers makes it easier for patients to participate, stay motivated, and enjoy their training. The study will look at how acceptable and effective this form of training is for participants, as well as any unexpected issues that may arise during the sessions.
To be eligible for the trial, participants should be at least 18 years old, in stable health, able to sit up independently, and capable of understanding the instructions given. However, those with severe pain that prevents them from moving their arms or who cannot perform upper body exercises will not be able to participate. If you choose to join the study, you can expect to engage in guided upper body exercises with the robotic system, and your experience, satisfaction, and any challenges will be carefully documented. This research aims to find new ways to support rehabilitation for those with mobility issues.
