ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how our brains perceive physical effort and how this affects our willingness to engage in physical activity. Researchers believe that understanding how our brain processes effort could help encourage more people to be active, which is important for overall health. The trial will use techniques like brain imaging and non-invasive brain stimulation to see if they can change the way we feel about physical effort, potentially making it easier for individuals to engage in exercise.
Anyone interested in participating should be in good health and free from neurological conditions, like epilepsy or strokes, that could affect the study results. Participants will take part in various tasks while their brain activity is monitored, and they will receive treatments aimed at reducing the perception of effort. This research is open to people of all ages and genders who meet the eligibility criteria. Overall, the goal is to find new ways to motivate people to be more physically active and improve their health outcomes.
