ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how follow-up care from a general practitioner (family doctor) affects patients who come to the hospital with chest pain. The researchers want to understand the differences in health, mental well-being, and social situations of patients who receive regular follow-up care compared to those who do not. To gather this information, patients will fill out an anonymous questionnaire in the emergency department at Emile Roux Hospital.
To be eligible for the study, participants must be between the ages of 65 and 74, have been admitted to the hospital's emergency department for chest pain, and be enrolled in the social security system. Patients who are unable to make informed decisions, such as those with cognitive disorders, or who are pregnant or breastfeeding, cannot participate. If you join the study, you can expect to complete a questionnaire about your health and circumstances, which will help researchers learn more about the impact of follow-up care on patients with chest pain.
