ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on improving the results of endometrial biopsies, which are important tests used to check for endometrial cancer in women who have unusual bleeding after menopause. The study aims to understand why some samples taken during these biopsies are not sufficient for diagnosis, as this happens in a significant number of cases. By identifying the reasons behind these insufficient samples and making adjustments to the process, the researchers hope to enhance the accuracy of the biopsies at Adan Hospital.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be women undergoing an outpatient endometrial biopsy between November 2024 and April 2025. However, those who cannot provide a sample due to physical issues, anxiety, or other medical conditions will not be included. If you participate, you can expect to have your biopsy done as usual, and after six months, the team will check to see if the changes made have led to better outcomes. This study is crucial in ensuring that more women receive accurate diagnoses from their biopsies.
