ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how different types of nursing care—both in the hospital and at home—can help people with tuberculosis (TB) stick to their treatment plans. Tuberculosis is a serious lung infection that can be difficult to treat, and researchers have found that many patients struggle to complete their treatment. The goal of this trial is to see if providing extra support through a therapeutic education program can improve treatment completion rates and help prevent relapses.
To participate in the trial, individuals must be at least 18 years old, have recently been diagnosed with tuberculosis, and started treatment within the last three weeks. They should also be receiving care at St Antoine Hospital in certain departments like internal medicine or geriatrics. Participants will be asked to sign a consent form to join the study. It's important to note that people under legal protection cannot participate. If you or someone you know meets these criteria, this trial could be an opportunity to receive additional support while managing tuberculosis treatment.
