ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how using multimedia, like videos or interactive presentations, during the consent process affects the anxiety levels of parents whose children are having orchiopexy surgery. Orchiopexy is a procedure to correct undescended testicles. The main question the researchers want to answer is whether these multimedia tools can help reduce anxiety for parents before their child's surgery.
To participate in this study, parents or primary caregivers of children scheduled for orchiopexy can enroll. However, parents who have previously had a child undergo this surgery or whose child is having other procedures at the same time won't be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to receive information through multimedia that may help you feel more at ease about the surgery. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and both mothers and fathers are welcome to take part.
