ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) therapy can help people with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). The main goal is to see if this type of therapy can reduce self-harm behaviors, improve emotional control, and enhance the overall quality of life for those affected by BPD. The researchers hope to gather valuable information that could lead to better treatment options in the future.
To participate in the study, individuals must be non-hospitalized adults (18 years and older) who have recently been diagnosed with BPD and are experiencing psychological distress, low quality of life, and difficulties with emotional regulation. It's important that participants can understand Urdu and provide informed consent. However, those who are currently hospitalized, have other serious health issues, or are younger than 18 are not eligible to join. If selected, participants can expect to engage in therapy sessions aimed at helping them manage their emotions and improve their well-being.
