Beach Tennis Injuries National Prospective Cohort

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is focused on understanding injuries that occur among beach tennis players. Beach tennis is a popular sport that has grown a lot since it started in Italy in the 1970s, especially on La Réunion island since 2000. However, there isn't much research specifically looking at injuries related to this sport, and previous studies have had limitations. This trial aims to gather new information over one year to help identify the risk of injuries in beach tennis players and improve prevention and treatment strategies.

To be eligible to participate in this study, you should be at least 18 years old and play beach tennis regularly (at least once a week). It doesn't matter if you're a male or female, or if you belong to a club; you just need to be able to read and understand French and be willing to take part in the research. If you join the study, you can expect to share your experiences and any injuries you may have while playing beach tennis over the year. This information will be valuable for making the sport safer for everyone. Please note that people who are under guardianship or court protection cannot participate in this trial.
