ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a new treatment for gingival recession, which is when the gum tissue pulls back from the teeth, exposing more of the tooth or its root. The researchers want to find out if using different thicknesses of a special type of membrane made from platelets and white blood cells (called L-PRF) along with a surgical technique known as the Coronally Advanced Flap (CAF) can help cover the exposed roots better and reduce the chances of future gum recession. The goal is to improve the healing process and comfort for patients undergoing this treatment.

To participate in the trial, individuals should be between 18 and 75 years old, have healthy gums without major diseases, and should have at least one area of gum recession that fits the trial's criteria. Participants will likely undergo a procedure where the L-PRF membrane is applied, and they can expect to be monitored for healing and improvement over time. It's important to note that individuals with certain health conditions, those currently smoking, or those who have had recent gum surgery in the affected areas will not be eligible for this study.
