ClinConnect Summary

The eDrugSafe trial is studying a mobile web platform designed to help adults who take multiple medications manage their medications better and improve their understanding of drug information. The main goal is to see if using this platform can help patients stick to their medication schedules, feel more confident in managing their health, and even reduce the number of hospital visits. The researchers will compare the use of eDrugSafe with traditional paper methods to determine if it is effective and easy to use in local pharmacies.

To participate in the study, you need to be between 18 and 79 years old, speak and understand Korean, and have a personal device like a smartphone or tablet that can access the internet. You should also be taking three or more medications, with at least one prescribed for a month or longer. If you decide to join, you’ll be assigned to either use the eDrugSafe platform or receive usual paper-based care for six months. Throughout the study, you’ll fill out surveys to help the researchers understand how well the platform is working and how feasible it is to use in community settings.
