ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a peer support program designed for young adults aged 18 to 39 who have undergone an allogeneic stem cell transplant (which is a type of treatment for certain cancers and blood disorders). The goal of the study is to see if this support program can help these patients feel less anxious and depressed, and to find out if they feel more connected to others who have had similar experiences.
To be eligible for the trial, participants must be between 18 and 39 years old and at least three months out from their transplant. They can have either cancer or other blood disorders that required the transplant. Unfortunately, the program is only open to those who speak English. If you choose to participate, you can expect to join a group where you can share experiences and support one another, which may help improve your overall well-being during this challenging time.
