ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how a treatment called thoracic spinal manipulation can help office workers who experience back pain. Many people who work at desks for long hours often have stiffness and discomfort in their backs. The researchers want to see if spinal manipulation, which is a technique to adjust the spine, can improve oxygen levels in the back muscles and reduce pain and disability. They will look at how participants feel right after the treatment, as well as 10 days and 4 weeks later.

To participate in this study, individuals must be active office workers aged 20 to 50 who have had back pain for at least the last three months. They should also be willing to take part in the study and cannot have certain health conditions like fractures, cancer, or osteoporosis. Participants will be divided into two groups: one will receive the spinal manipulation along with posture exercises, while the other will only do posture exercises. The goal is to find out if the spinal manipulation leads to better muscle oxygenation and less pain compared to just doing exercises. This study aims to provide valuable information on how this treatment can help improve the health of office workers.
