ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring how the eye changes focus, a process known as accommodation, particularly in people with a specific type of vision issue called astigmatism. Accommodation is how our eyes adjust to see things clearly at different distances. Researchers want to understand this process better because there are still many unanswered questions about how our eyes work, especially as we age and develop conditions like presbyopia, which makes it harder to focus on close-up objects.

To participate in this study, you must be between the ages of 7304 and 29219, and have astigmatism that is less than or equal to -1.50D (a measure of how your eye focuses light). You should also be able to see well with corrective lenses. However, if you have certain health issues, a history of eye surgeries, or specific eye conditions, you may not be eligible to join. If you do qualify, you can expect to take part in tests that will help researchers learn more about how the eye focuses. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to contribute valuable information to improve our understanding of eye accommodation and its related conditions.
