ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking to understand how digital programs can help newly diagnosed cancer patients improve their health and wellbeing. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two online programs, both designed by experts at Stanford University. Throughout the study, participants will fill out questionnaires to share their experiences, complete digital courses, and collect blood samples at home to help researchers see how their bodies are responding to treatment over time.

To be eligible for this study, participants must have a recent diagnosis of certain types of cancer (stages I-III) and be starting or currently receiving treatment, like chemotherapy or immunotherapy. They should be at least 18 years old, fluent in English, and living in the United States with access to a computer or smartphone. The trial is open to all genders. It’s important to note that individuals currently being treated for severe mental health issues, such as depression or anxiety, cannot participate. This study aims to provide valuable insights into how mindset and resilience can affect the cancer experience.
