ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how children and teenagers with certain rheumatic diseases, like Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) and Familial Mediterranean Fever (FMF), walk and move. Researchers will use a special device called smart insoles, which can track walking patterns in everyday situations. The goal is to see if the walking abilities of these young patients differ from those of healthy children, helping doctors understand their physical challenges better and improve care.
To participate in this study, children and teens aged 6 to 18 who have been diagnosed with JIA or FMF for at least six months are eligible. Healthy children in the same age group can also join. However, those with recent injuries, surgeries, or other serious health issues will not be included. Participants can expect to wear the smart insoles during their usual activities, providing valuable information about their walking and balance without needing expensive equipment. This research aims to help healthcare providers make better decisions to support the long-term movement and health of these young patients.
