ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how kinesiotaping can help reduce pelvic girdle pain in women who have recently given birth. Pelvic girdle pain is discomfort that some women experience in their lower back and hips after having a baby. The study aims to see if applying special tape to this area can provide relief. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it will focus on women aged 25 to 35 who are less than four months postpartum and have been diagnosed with pelvic girdle pain.
To be eligible for this study, women must not be pregnant or planning to become pregnant, and they should not have certain health issues such as heart disease or a history of spinal surgery. Participants who join the trial can expect to receive kinesiotaping treatment and may be assessed through specific tests to measure their pain levels and mobility. This research could provide valuable insights into a simple and non-invasive way to help new mothers manage their discomfort.
