ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating how well kidney transplant recipients breathe and how strong their muscles are, especially focusing on those who may have weak breathing muscles. The researchers want to understand how these factors relate to overall health, physical ability, and a condition called frailty, which can make it harder for people to recover from illness or surgery.
To participate in this study, you must be at least six months post-kidney transplant and not regularly exercising. It's important that you do not have certain health issues like severe lung disease or recent heart problems. If you join the study, you’ll undergo various tests to assess your muscle strength, oxygen levels, and overall physical condition. This research aims to help improve care and support for kidney transplant patients, especially those who might be struggling with their breathing and physical health.
