ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how providing better information through a mobile app can help patients with severe aortic stenosis, a heart condition affecting the aortic valve. The goal is to see if this improved access to information can lead to better experiences and outcomes for patients after they undergo a procedure called aortic valve replacement, specifically a less invasive method known as TAVI.
To take part in this trial, participants need to be between the ages of 65 and 74, have severe aortic valve stenosis, and be scheduled for TAVI. They should also be comfortable completing surveys in German and agree to participate by signing a consent form. If you join the study, you can expect to use the app to receive information and then share your experiences through surveys, which will help researchers understand if this approach makes a difference in how patients feel about their care.
