Healthy Brain Motor Skill

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how to predict mistakes people might make while performing tasks that require motor skills, like typing. Researchers have already figured out how to predict errors just 0.1 seconds before they happen and want to see if they can extend that time to 1 second. This could help warn individuals and potentially prevent those mistakes from occurring.

To participate, you must be a healthy, right-handed adult between the ages of 18 and 35. If you join, you’ll attend 2 to 5 visits that last 1 to 2 hours each. During these visits, you'll undergo physical and neurological exams, as well as brain scans using MRI and MEG technology. These scans are safe and help researchers understand brain activity while you perform typing tasks. This study is not yet recruiting, but if you're interested, it could be a great opportunity to contribute to our understanding of how we can improve motor skills and reduce errors.
