ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different methods of pain relief for patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy, which is a surgery to remove the gallbladder. The two techniques being compared are called the Transversus Abdominis Plane (TAP) block and the External Oblique block. Both methods aim to help reduce pain after surgery, which can make recovery easier and quicker for patients.
To participate in this trial, you need to be an adult between 18 and 60 years old, have a body mass index (BMI) of less than 35, and be scheduled for the laparoscopic gallbladder surgery. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but if you qualify, you can expect to receive one of the two pain relief methods during your surgery. This study will help determine which method is more effective, ultimately improving pain management for future patients.
