ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different treatments for people suffering from chronic neck pain, which is neck pain that has lasted for more than six weeks. The main goal is to compare the effects of two therapies: Cervical Retraction Exercise, which involves specific movements to improve neck posture, and Facet Oscillatory Mobilization, a technique that gently moves the joints in the neck to relieve pain and improve movement. The researchers want to find out which method is more effective in reducing neck pain and improving the ability to move the neck.
To participate in this study, you need to be between 35 and 50 years old and have chronic neck pain that affects your daily life. You should have a Neck Disability Index score above 16%, meaning your neck pain impacts your activities, and a pain score of 3 to 6 on a scale of 0 to 10. The study will involve 32 participants, divided into two groups of 16, and you will be asked to fill out a consent form before starting. If you have certain conditions like previous neck surgery or severe neurological disorders, you may not be eligible to participate. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and it's a chance to contribute to research that could help others with similar neck pain issues in the future.
