ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new way to improve balance using an outdoor therapeutic horse carriage, called the Equine Dynamic Balance (EDB). The study aims to see how effective this unique approach is in helping people react better in situations where they might lose their balance. Over a two-week period, healthy young adults will participate in balance training while standing on this moving carriage, and researchers will compare their balance abilities before and after the training.
To be eligible for this trial, participants should be healthy adults aged 18 to 45 years, standing between 150 to 190 cm tall and weighing less than 100 kg. They should not have any serious health conditions that affect their balance, such as neurological disorders or significant mobility impairments. Participants can expect to engage in balance training sessions and contribute to understanding how this innovative method might help prevent falls in the future. Importantly, the study is not yet recruiting participants, but it could provide valuable insights into balance training techniques.
