ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how providing information and teaching relaxation exercises can help reduce fear, anxiety, and pain for women undergoing planned cesarean sections. The goal is to see if these techniques can make the experience more comfortable for new mothers after surgery. The study will include pregnant women aged 18 to 35 who are having their first baby, are scheduled for a cesarean section with spinal anesthesia, and have a single live pregnancy.
Participants will complete some surveys before the surgery to measure their feelings of anxiety and fear, as well as their comfort levels after the procedure. The study is currently recruiting participants, and women who have complications during delivery or require general anesthesia will not be eligible. If you decide to take part, you'll receive helpful information and relaxation exercises to support you during this important time.
