ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring whether telerehabilitation, which is physical therapy conducted online, can help patients recover after total hip arthroplasty (hip replacement surgery). The study aims to find out if this method improves how well participants can move and function compared to traditional in-person rehabilitation. Participants will engage in therapy sessions led by a physiotherapist twice a week for eight weeks, and their progress will be assessed at different points: before surgery, and again at six and twelve weeks after surgery.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must have had hip replacement surgery and be able to understand spoken and written information in Turkish. They should not have any cognitive impairments or significant neurological or psychiatric disorders. Importantly, individuals with visual or hearing impairments that cannot be corrected are also not eligible. This trial is currently not recruiting participants, but it will provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of remote rehabilitation for hip surgery recovery.
