ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial, titled "Listening to Calming Music," is studying how listening to music can improve health and wellness. The researchers want to find out if listening to music can change our body's reactions, how it affects our overall wellbeing, and if individual traits, like age or personality, play a role in these effects.

If you are between the ages of 18 and 89, proficient in English, and have attended an online workshop, you might be eligible to participate. In the study, you will first complete online surveys before and after listening to a 15-minute music session. In the second phase, your heart rate will be monitored continuously while you listen to the music, and you will also provide saliva samples before and after the session. This trial is currently recruiting participants of all genders and aims to explore the calming effects of music on our bodies and minds.
