ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a specially designed storybook can help reduce dental anxiety and improve behavior in children who need a specific dental treatment called an occlusal composite restoration. The trial will compare two groups of children: one group will receive standard communication techniques from their dentist, while the other group will get the storybook that explains what will happen during their dental visit. The goal is to see if the storybook makes children feel more comfortable and less anxious about their dental care.
To be eligible for this trial, children should be healthy and able to read and understand Arabic. They also need to require the specific dental treatment mentioned. However, children with special needs, severe hearing or vision impairments, or learning difficulties will not be included. If your child qualifies and participates, they will be part of a study that aims to make dental visits easier and more positive for kids. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, so there will be more information available soon.
