ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to compare two different exercise methods for treating chronic neck pain and forward head posture, which is when the head is positioned further forward than normal. The two methods being studied are Global Postural Reeducation (GPR) and Deep Neck Flexor (DNF) activation exercises. The goal is to see which approach helps reduce pain, improve daily functioning, and strengthen neck muscles in people experiencing these issues.
To be eligible for the trial, participants should be adults aged 18 to 65 who have neck pain rated at least a 3 out of 10 on a pain scale. They should also have a forward head posture and a specific angle measurement indicating this posture. However, individuals with certain medical conditions, like severe neck problems or cognitive issues, will not be able to take part in the study. Those who join can expect guided exercise sessions designed to help alleviate their neck pain and improve their posture, contributing to better overall neck health. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to provide valuable insights into effective neck pain treatments.
