ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how two supplements, caffeine and sodium bicarbonate, can improve short-term performance during resistance training, which includes exercises like lifting weights. Researchers want to see if these supplements can help participants do more repetitions, activate their muscles better, move faster, and experience less fatigue while working out.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be healthy men and women aged 18 to 40 who regularly train with weights at least three times a week and consume caffeine daily. Those who have had recent injuries related to muscles or tendons cannot participate. If you join the trial, you will likely take these supplements and then perform resistance training exercises to help researchers gather information on how they affect your performance. The trial is currently recruiting participants, so if you fit the criteria and are interested, you might want to consider getting involved!
