ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying different skin growths around the eyes, known as neoformations, using a special imaging technique called videodermatoscopy. The focus is on understanding various conditions that can affect the surface of the eye and the areas around it, such as certain types of moles, skin cancers, and other benign (non-cancerous) growths. Researchers aim to gather detailed information about these conditions to improve diagnosis and treatment.

To participate in this trial, you should be between the ages of 65 and 74 and have been diagnosed with specific skin conditions like common moles, seborrheic keratosis (a type of non-cancerous growth), or certain skin cancers. However, if you have ongoing eye inflammation issues or multiple skin lesions, you may not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to have your skin growths examined closely with the videodermatoscope, which is a painless and non-invasive process. This research is important as it could help doctors better understand and treat eye-related skin issues in the future.
