ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is examining different types of connections used in dental implants to support fixed partial dentures, which are prosthetic teeth that fill gaps caused by missing teeth. The goal is to find out which connection type leads to fewer complications, both in terms of biological issues (like infections) and technical problems (like the implants not fitting properly). Researchers are currently looking for participants who have three missing teeth in the back of their lower jaw and who are suitable candidates for implant-supported prostheses.
To be eligible for the study, participants should be adults between the ages of 65 and 74, have had their teeth removed at least three months ago, and have enough bone to support the implants without needing extensive surgery. If you decide to join the trial, you can expect to undergo evaluations to determine the best implant connection for your situation. It's important to note that participants must be in good overall health and able to provide consent to take part in the study.
