ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effectiveness of two types of exercises—stabilization exercises and Schroth exercises—on improving the quality of life for young people with scoliosis. Scoliosis is a condition where the spine curves sideways, and this study aims to see if these exercises can help improve trunk rotation, body awareness, and sleep quality in adolescents aged 9 to 17 with a specific type of scoliosis.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be between 9 and 17 years old and have a spinal curve between 10 and 40 degrees. They should be willing to follow instructions from a physiotherapist and understand the exercises. However, those with certain health issues, like obesity or recent injuries, will not be included. If chosen to participate, young people will engage in guided exercise sessions that aim to help them feel better and improve their overall well-being. The study is currently recruiting participants, so if you think this might be a good fit, it’s worth considering!
