ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating how different medications may interact with each other in older adults living with HIV. As people with HIV are living longer due to effective treatments, many are also dealing with other health issues that require additional medications. This study focuses on individuals aged 60 and older who are currently on a specific HIV treatment regimen (bictegravir/emtricitabine/tenofovir alafenamide) and have other non-infectious health conditions that need treatment.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be over 60 years old, have other health issues being treated with medication, and be currently taking the specified HIV regimen. The trial will monitor any significant interactions between their HIV medications and those prescribed for other conditions. Participants can expect to share their medical history and medication details, and their experiences may help improve understanding of how to manage treatments safely for older adults with HIV.
