ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a specific heart condition called Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) Syndrome, which involves an extra electrical pathway in the heart. The researchers are looking to understand how to tell the difference between two types of these pathways located in different parts of the heart (the right and left septal areas) using special heart tests. They want to learn more about both types of pathways, whether they're causing symptoms (manifest) or not (concealed).

To participate in this trial, patients need to have a suspected septal accessory pathway and be scheduled for a heart test and treatment at Assiut University Heart Hospital. However, patients who have had previous treatments for this condition or have more than one pathway, as well as those with certain heart structural issues, cannot join. If eligible, participants can expect to undergo standard heart tests and may help contribute to better understanding and treatment of this condition. This study is currently recruiting participants of all ages and genders.
