ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called Mg OSTEOCRETE Post-Treatment Outcomes, is studying a bone substitute called Mg OSTEOCRETE, which is used to help patients heal after certain types of bone surgery. This includes situations where a tumor has been removed, when orthopedic implants (like screws or plates) have become loose, or in cases of bone injury from trauma. The main goal of the study is to find out how long it takes for bone to heal after using Mg OSTEOCRETE and to learn more about how effective this treatment is based on medical assessments and patient feedback.
To participate in the trial, individuals must be 18 years or older and have received or will receive Mg OSTEOCRETE as part of their treatment. The study is open to all genders and is focused on patients who are having surgery for one of the specific reasons mentioned earlier. While this trial is not yet recruiting participants, those who do join can expect to provide information about their healing process and experiences after treatment. It's an important study that aims to improve how we treat bone issues related to cancer, orthopedic hardware, and trauma.
