ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how well ballistic tests can predict whether someone will be able to return to physical activities 24 months after having surgery for an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury. Ballistic tests measure fast movements, like jumping and running, which are important for athletes and active individuals. The goal is to find a better way to assess recovery after ACL surgery, since current tests don’t provide enough information about how well a person can stabilize their knee during quick movements.
To participate in this study, you need to be an adult over 18 who has had ACL reconstruction surgery, specifically using hamstrings, and you should not have additional serious injuries or health conditions that could affect your recovery. Participants will take part in specific tests to measure their strength and movement. It’s important to note that this trial is not yet recruiting participants, so there’s no need to apply just yet. If you have any questions about your eligibility or the study itself, it’s best to talk to your healthcare provider.
