ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how certain physical and social skills relate to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Researchers want to understand how the jaw joint (called the temporomandibular joint or TMJ), neck posture, balance, and social skills work together in people with ASD compared to those who develop motor skills typically. The study will take place at the Bartın Lider Special Education and Rehabilitation Center, and participants will be asked to complete various tests to measure these areas.
To join the study, participants need to have a confirmed diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and be enrolled in a special education program. They should not have any vision issues, cognitive impairments, or walking difficulties. The trial is open to individuals between the ages of 14 and 76. Participants will undergo assessments that measure their balance, movement, and social adaptability, which will help researchers learn more about the connections between these skills in individuals with ASD.
