ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating the use of different attachments for implant-retained overdentures, which are special dental devices used to help people who have lost all their teeth in the lower jaw. The goal is to find the best way to support these dentures for better comfort and function. The study will take place at the Removable Prosthodontic Department of Al-Azhar University, and they are currently looking for participants.
To be eligible for the trial, participants need to have healthy gums without inflammation or sores, a strong jawbone with enough space for implants, and no serious medical conditions that could affect their treatment. Unfortunately, individuals with certain health issues, like significant oral diseases or habits like heavy smoking, won’t be able to join. Those who are accepted will learn about the treatment process and what to expect, and they will be asked to provide their consent before starting. This study aims to improve the quality of life for people with edentulism, which means they are missing all their teeth.
