ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how eating trout, a type of fish rich in nutrients called omega-3 fatty acids, can improve brain health in young children and their families. Researchers want to see if regular fish consumption can help with thinking, learning, and emotional well-being. The trial involves different activities, such as tasting various trout strains and studying how nutrition education can encourage families to eat more fish together.
To participate, children aged 3 to 9 years old and their English or Spanish-speaking parents or guardians can join, as long as they currently eat fish less than twice a week and do not have allergies or dietary restrictions that prevent them from eating fish. Participants will be involved in taste tests and learning sessions about fish preparation, and they may also take part in home activities to encourage fish consumption. This is a great opportunity for families to improve their eating habits while contributing to important research on brain health!
