ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how to manage seizures in children and teenagers who often have seizures and may experience long or severe ones. The researchers want to find out the best types of rescue medications that can be given in emergency situations, how effective these medications are, the best ways to administer them, and any side effects that might occur. They will also look at how often these medications are used and when they should be given.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be between 2 and 18 years old and have a history of recurrent seizures that are already being treated at home. However, children experiencing their first seizure or those with conditions that look like epilepsy but aren’t actually seizures will not qualify. Since the study is not yet recruiting, there will be more information available soon for families interested in participating.
