ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a treatment called non-invasive neuromodulation to help people suffering from musculoskeletal pain after recovering from COVID-19. Musculoskeletal pain includes discomfort in your muscles, bones, and joints, and many people report this type of pain even after their COVID-19 infection has cleared. The goal of the trial is to see if this method, which involves using gentle electrical stimulation to influence the nervous system, can relieve pain and improve quality of life.

To participate in the trial, you need to be between 18 and 65 years old, have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last three months, and have been experiencing musculoskeletal pain during that time. However, if your pain is due to an injury, has lasted more than three months, or if you are pregnant or have certain medical conditions, you won't be eligible. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the treatment or a placebo (a treatment that looks the same but has no active effect). Throughout the trial, researchers will assess various factors, such as pain levels, sleep quality, and stress, to see how well the treatment works. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it aims to provide new insights into managing pain after COVID-19.
