ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to find out how many patients who visit the anesthesiology consultation for planned surgeries are found to have unknown health risks, such as obesity or anemia. The goal is to help identify these issues before surgery, which can improve patient safety and outcomes.
To participate in the study, individuals need to be between 18 and 50 years old and scheduled for an elective (non-urgent) surgery. Participants will have an in-person consultation with an anesthesiologist, where their health will be evaluated. It's important to note that people who are pregnant, need urgent surgery, or haven't completed their preoperative evaluation won't be included in the study. If you join the trial, you can expect a thorough check-up that could help identify any hidden health concerns before your surgery.
