ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a new type of dental material called self-adhesive bulk-fill composite resin. It aims to find out how well this material works for filling cavities in children's back teeth (called primary molars) compared to a traditional filling method that uses an adhesive. The researchers want to see if there is any difference in how well the two types of fillings hold up over a year.

To participate in this trial, children need to be generally healthy and have specific types of cavities in their lower second primary molars. They should also be able to cooperate during dental visits. Unfortunately, children with more serious dental issues, like infections or severe pain, cannot participate. If selected, participants will receive dental fillings and will need to return for follow-up visits to check how well the fillings are doing. This study is currently active, but they are not recruiting new participants at this time.
