ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is designed to compare two different types of light treatment—Excimer Light and blue light—for helping people with inflammatory acne, a common skin condition. The goal is to see which treatment is more effective and safe for reducing acne symptoms. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but when it starts, it will be open to young people aged 14 to 25 who have mild to moderate acne.
To participate, you need to be in the right age group and have certain types of acne. However, there are some conditions that would exclude you from joining, such as being pregnant, having severe health issues, or using certain medications recently. If you are eligible and choose to take part, you can expect to receive one of the light treatments and will be monitored for how well it works and any side effects. This trial aims to provide valuable information that could help improve acne treatment options in the future.
