ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different methods to relieve pain and improve movement in patients with frozen shoulder, a condition that causes stiffness and discomfort in the shoulder joint. The trial will include 50 participants who will be divided into two groups: one group will receive a suprascapular nerve block, and the other group will receive a shoulder anterior capsular block. Both treatments involve injections aimed at reducing pain and improving shoulder mobility.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be at least 18 years old and have experienced shoulder pain and limited movement for more than six weeks. They should have difficulty moving their shoulder in at least two directions, such as lifting their arm or rotating it. However, people with certain conditions, like allergies to local anesthetics, infections, or recent shoulder injuries, will not be able to take part. If you join the trial, you can expect to receive one of the treatment types and will be monitored to see how well it helps your shoulder. The goal is to find out which method works better for improving function and relieving pain for those with frozen shoulder.
