ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at a new type of medical imaging called high-resolution mobile PET-CT scanning. The goal is to see how well this technology can help doctors check the edges of tumors during surgeries for oral squamous cell carcinoma, soft tissue sarcoma, and osteosarcoma. By doing this, the trial aims to determine if the scanner can accurately predict whether all the cancer has been removed, which is important for successful treatment.

To participate, individuals need to be at least 18 years old and have a confirmed diagnosis of one of the specified cancers that require surgery. They should also be able to understand the study and provide written consent. However, certain individuals may not be eligible, such as those who have had previous radiation treatment in the affected area or have specific medical conditions that could affect their participation. This trial is currently not recruiting participants, but it represents an important step in improving surgical outcomes for patients with these types of cancer.
